Job Description:

• Lead and manage personnel at the Agronomy location, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production goals.
• Plan, establish, and coordinate work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to align with operational hours and meet targets.
• Maximize plant operation efficiency to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain written operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Negotiate cost-effective processes for budgetary items to enhance profit margins.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of facilities and grounds to maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Identify employee developmental needs and provide coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Support agronomists with mapping, fertility management, record-keeping, yield mapping, and creating soil sampling maps for variable rate recommendations.
• Assist with branch field activities, including soil sampling, sensor management, and VR map creation.
• Ensure a safe working environment by overseeing compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety laws and regulations; assist with accident/injury investigations as needed.
• Foster effective communication and problem-solving within the team, providing the necessary support to staff.
• Collaborate and coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure the smooth completion of tasks, with a focus on respect and teamwork.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and physical presence at the worksite, interacting directly with personnel and operations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
