Job Title: Production Operator

Pay: $19/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Operate seed conditioning equipment according to instructions.
• Performs and documents quality checks as required.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining quality to ensure product integrity. ​
• Utilize computers to record and locate information as needed. ​
• Thoroughly clean all equipment between conditioning runs to maintain product integrity. ​
• Lift and stack materials for extended time periods and safely climb stairs and ladders to monitor and adjust equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to prevent downtime during conditioning season. ​
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in equipment operation is a plus.
• ​​​​​​​Experience in agricultural processing or related industrial operations (preferred).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot conditioning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

• This role involves standing for long periods of time as well as lifting heavy materials.
• ​​​​​​​Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Various shift work and seasonal overtime may be required through busy seasons.
