- Build and maintain grower relationships through consistent outreach and market communication.
- Negotiate grain purchases, track positions, and execute contracts through the AgVantage Grain system.
- Communicate daily bids and market trends, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- Coordinate logistics (truck/rail/barge) and maintain hedging accuracy to protect margins.
- Bachelor’s degree in Ag-related field or 6+ years’ experience in grain origination or merchandising.
- Deep understanding of grain markets, freight spreads, and contract management.
- Excellent communicator with strong relationship and negotiation skills.
- Integrity, drive, and a hands-on approach to building business.
