Are you passionate about agriculture and skilled with farm equipment? We’re looking for a motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team and help growers maximize crop health and yield. In this role, you’ll apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other crop treatments using advanced equipment while working closely with our farm operations team.

What You’ll Do:
Operate and maintain application equipment such as sprayers, spreaders, and GPS-guided machinery.
Measure, mix, and apply fertilizers and chemicals safely and accurately.
Adjust equipment to ensure proper coverage and application rates for optimal results.
Inspect and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure efficiency and safety.
Keep detailed records of product use, maintenance, and application plans.
Partner with agronomy staff and growers to tailor application plans for specific crops.
Follow all safety guidelines and environmental regulations when handling chemicals.
Properly clean, store, and dispose of equipment and products according to regulations.
Provide insights and recommendations based on crop conditions to improve outcomes and reduce environmental impact.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; agricultural certifications or degree a plus.
Experience operating farm equipment and performing custom applications.
Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and crop care practices.
Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot GPS-guided machinery.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL with company assistance.
Pass background check and drug screening.
